A maritime procession, music and plenty to eat at the traditional barraca restaurant in Lo Pagán
The first half of July is a time of fiestas and celebration in San Pedro del Pinatar and Lo Pagán as the annual festivities leading up to the Feast Day of the Virgen del Carmen take place, climaxing in the days leading up to the main date on 16th July.
The Virgen del Carmen is revered as the patron of fishermen, seafarers in general and the Spanish Navy, and this date is celebrated all around the coastline of Spain. The main events in San Pedro are the maritime procession on the waters of the Mar Menor, a highly emotional and extremely colourful ceremony which is accompanied by hundreds of onlookers on board small boats and dinghies!

Opens until late in the evening.
