Condado Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Condado Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

August 19 Mingo the flamingo goes on safari in San Pedro del Pinatar!
Fun activities for youngsters at the beach of Torre Derribada in San Pedro
Mingo is a small Pink cartoon flamingo who has been brought into existence by the Tourism department of the Town Hall of San Pedro del Pinatar to encourage youngsters to learn about, enjoy and appreciate the Regional Park of the local salt flats and sand dunes, and on August 19 he is going “on safari” in the area of the beach of Torre Derribada.
At the Mingo Safari event, along with his friend Explo, he will be showing children how to make fun animals by folding paper and engaging in other activities in the car park alongside the beach (click for map).
Registration is free of charge online here and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Anyone arriving over 10 minutes after the start time of 20.00 will lose their place.
