Condado Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Condado Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@condadotoday.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

Spring showers sweep through Alicante: Weather forecast April 29 - May 2
The rainy weather is expected to continue in Alicante this week as temperatures remain unseasonably low
Weather outlook on Wednesday May 1
A spring storm swept across Spain over the weekend, resulting in widespread rain in Alicante on Sunday. The showers look set to persist all this week and while the south of the country will be warmer than most areas, the temperatures will still be unseasonably low for the next few days.
Monday April 29
Monday morning will be dreary and wet and although the sun isn’t expected to come out at all, the rain should ease off in the afternoon. Both daytime and night-time temperatures will fall even further, and a variable light wind could feel breezy along the coast.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday
Alcoy: 8ºC to 16ºC
Alicante: 13ºC to 19ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 18ºC
Elche: 11ºC to 20ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC to 22ºC
Tuesday April 30
After an overcast start some sunny spells should open up on Tuesday afternoon. There’s a good chance of showers inland later in the day, and these could spread to other areas, but more dispersed.
Daytime temperatures will creep up by a decree or two, but it could feel very blustery in coastal areas.

Alcoy: 8ºC to 21ºC
Alicante: 12ºC to 24ºC
Denia: 11ºC to 22ºC
Elche: 10ºC to 26ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC to 26ºC
Wednesday May 1
Similar to Tuesday, the clouds should break up on Wednesday afternoon giving way to lots of bright and sunny spells. There are more showers forecast inland which could spread as the hours go by.
During the day, the temperatures will rise on the northern coast but there will be few changes elsewhere.

Alcoy: 8ºC to 18ºC
Alicante: 13ºC to 24ºC
Denia: 13ºC to 22ºC
Elche: 12ºC to 23ºC
Orihuela: 13ºC to 23ºC
Thursday May 2
Thursday will be much brighter than previous days but the cloud cover will increase towards the afternoon. Showers are likely inland, but they will be confined to the north of the province. Very few changes are expected temperature-wise but a light west wind could increase in intensity later in the day.

Alicante: 12ºC to 23ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 23ºC
Elche: 10ºC to 24ºC
