Planned building work will change the face of Al Kasar Commercial Centre in Condado de Alhama
Information surfaces regarding the plans for Al Kasar Commercial Centre in Condado de Alhama Golf Resort
As reported in December 2023, after months (and possibly years) of neglect by landlords Sareb Bank, news broke that the Al Kasar Shopping Centre in Condado de Alhama Golf Resort had been sold to new owners who were not only local but have ambitious plans for the centre, much to the delight of business owners and homeowners alike.
While some of these plans have been shared with a group of businesses operating in the commercial centre, to a large extent details of the plans remain confidential, as currently does the name of the new owner.
However, in the week commencing January 22, workmen appeared and started working and marking out what were suspected to be building lines in the bottom of the drained ornamental lagoon which is the central focal point in the middle of the commercial centre. Much speculation followed and recently news has emerged on social media showing a designer’s impression of what is reported to be the planned structure.
The image shows a raised square island in the centre of the lagoon with tables and chairs and other fitments, which is reached by an impressive footbridge.
This impression has not been confirmed by the new owner, but reliable sources confirm the new structure will house a number of services located within the water feature and will be privately managed and that this is part of the overall vision and design for Al Kasar being drawn up by the purchaser.
