March 11 and 12 International Walking Football tournament in Camposol

Fun and fitness as the Camposol walking football club goes from strength to strength!

Over the last couple of years the Walking Football Club in Camposol has gone from strength to strength as more and more people join in the fun and fitness initiative and enjoy the competitive (but not too competitive!) challenges of this sport designed for those who still dream of sporting glory while recognizing that perhaps the years make it an unrealistic ambition!

The latest proof of the success of the initiative is an international tournament which is being held this Tuesday and Wednesday (March 11 and 12) at the local facilities in Avenida de los Covachos. The competition takes place from 11.00 onwards on both days and further information can be obtained from event organizer Paul Cassidy (email casspaul5@gmail.com, WhatsApp +34 602 602913).

Special packages have been put together for teams taking part in terms of accommodation and logistics, and the event is divided into two categories for the over-50s and over-60s.
