Auditorio de Verano San Miguel de Salinas
Summer outdoor Auditorium, San Miguel de Salinas
The summer auditorium in San Miguel de Salinas is located in Plaza Jaime I, next to Calle Juan XXIII where the market is held every Wednesday in the western part of the town, and the modern structure which serves to amplify the sound of the musicians was officially declared open as recently as 2013.
During the summer months there is a long tradition of musical events in San Miguel, and the townspeople are particularly proud of their town band. In fact, there is also a summer music school in Calle Sorolla, where students come from all over Spain to spend a couple of months, and during the summer there is a series of concerts in the town.
Ticketing for concerts in the Auditorio de Verano is not generally a problem since the open-air events are free, but when special arrangements are necessary information is given for each individual event.
