Andalucía weekend weather forecast April 30-May 3: Showers, storms and a cooler feel
A wetter, more unsettled spell with showers and thunderstorms, especially in the east
After the recent run of warm, and a little showery weather, Andalucía starts the bank holiday weekend on an unsettled note, with more cloud, a risk of heavy showers and thunderstorms, and temperatures easing back in many places. The eastern provinces look set to see the most active weather, while the west should get a little more in the way of clearer spells between the showers.Thursday April 30

Through the afternoon, cloud thickens and showers break out across the eastern third, turning heavy at times with a risk of thunderstorms inland. Areas around Almería, Granada and Jaén are under a yellow warning for these conditions. Minimum temperatures fall in the western half, while daytime values rise a little overall. Winds stay light and variable, so the main story will be the cloud and rain rather than the breeze.

Andalucía weather forecast, Friday May 1Friday brings a similar split. Cloudier skies persist in the east, where showers and thunderstorms may again turn locally heavy. Further west, including Huelva and Cádiz, it will be brighter with sunny intervals and passing high cloud. Temperatures rise a little overnight, but daytime highs are lower in the eastern third and mostly steady or a touch higher further west.

Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday May 2Saturday looks more overcast across much of the region, with a chance of scattered showers and the odd rumble of thunder, especially further north. Places like Córdoba and Málaga may well see more cloud than recent days, with patchy rain possible. Temperatures show little change in the east, while elsewhere nights turn milder but daytime values dip slightly. Winds are light to moderate and variable, so conditions should feel calmer than during the stormier spells, even though the sky remains unsettled.
Sunday May 3
Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday May 3Sunday continues with plenty of cloud and the risk of showers, most likely in the eastern third of Andalucía.. Elsewhere, including Tarifa, conditions are mixed with some brighter intervals between clouds. Temperatures fall slightly overnight, while daytime figures remain fairly steady. Winds remain variable and mostly light to moderate, so it should feel fresher but less stormy than earlier in the week.
The new week looks set to begin with more changeable weather still hanging on, especially in the east.
