Murcia weekend weather forecast June 8-11: Sunshine and showers
It will be bright and warm on Saturday and Sunday, but the weekend is bookended by rain
Murcia weather forecast, Friday June 9
This weekend in the Region of Murcia will bring more sun than we’ve become used to recently, but there will still be plenty of showers in certain parts and more across the entire province as we head into next week.
For Thursday June 8, a yellow weather alert has been issued last minute for the northwest corner of the Region, around Caravaca de la Cruz and Bullas, which can expect up to 15mm of accumulated rainfall per hour between 2pm and midnight.
Showers are also forecast in Lorca, though not as heavy, while the rest of the Region simply has dark, overcast skies.
Friday June 9, which is a local holiday in the Region of Murcia, will be somewhat brighter, though it will still be very cloudy and there will be a chance of light rainfall in Mazarrón and Alhama de Murcia at midday.
By all accounts, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 should be nice and sunny, with daytime maximum temperatures around and even above 30ºC.
Make the most of this sunny weekend as for next week, the forecast is for more widespread rain on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, though temperatures should remain largely unchanged.
