Condado Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Condado Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Improvements begin this month in Avenida del Mediterráneo in Puerto de Mazarron
Mazarrón Council also award redevelopment work for calles Isla de Escombreras and Cabos Bagur and Bear
As part of the project Mazarrón Urbano, Ginés Campillo, the Mayor of Mazarrón, has signed contracts with Pavimentos Asfálticos Lario, the company which won the tender process to carry out extensive improvements in 2 areas.
The first area is Avenida del Mediterráneo in Puerto de Mazarrón, where the project costing 548,519.59 euros, plus 115,189.12 tax was drawn up by consulting firm Cauce Proyectos y Obras. It includes the comprehensive renovation of sanitation, stormwater drains, telecommunications, lighting, paving facilities, creation of areas green with irrigation system and signage and also incorporates modern aesthetics and mobility with the creation of a new cycle lane alongside the pedestrian area, parking and circulation. Estimated completion time 6 months.
The second area includes a project for calles Isla de Escombreras and Cabos Bagur and Bear in Alamillo, where a contract costing 243,289.48 euros, plus 51,090.79 tax drawn up by Imagea Consulting to improve the area which lacks basic facilities such as lighting, sidewalks or acceptable paving. In addition, the sanitation network and other facilities will involved also be renovated. Estimated completion time 2 months.
